Every deliverable reviewed and scored
Deliverable: Comparable companies research pack
You receive a live deal brief on Monday morning and spend the week building the foundational research an analyst would produce on day one. • Market overview & sector sizing • Comparable companies table with trading multiples • Competitor landscape assessment • Key industry trends and regulatory considerations • Target company profile and strategic positioning By Friday, you submit a full research pack — the same document a first-year analyst would send to an Associate for review.
Deliverable: Accretion / dilution M&A model
Working from a pre-structured skeleton, you build a complete M&A accretion/dilution model that shows whether the deal is value-creative or value-destructive for the acquirer. • Deal assumptions: offer price, mix of cash vs. stock, financing terms • Sources & uses of funds • Pro forma balance sheet and income statement • Accretion/dilution analysis by year • Sensitivity tables on key assumptions You submit your model on Friday and receive detailed written feedback on structure, formula integrity, and analytical judgement.
Deliverable: Full IBD-style pitch deck
The capstone week. You synthesise your research and model into a full pitch deck presenting your deal recommendation to a hypothetical MD and client. • Executive summary & investment thesis • Industry overview and strategic rationale • Financial analysis and valuation summary • Deal mechanics and financing structure • Key risks and mitigants The deck is reviewed and graded against the standards of a real investment banking pitch. You finish the programme with a deliverable you can confidently discuss in any interview.
Coaching
Each week opens with a detailed brief telling you exactly what to produce, how to structure it, and what an experienced banker would expect to see.
Worked examples, frameworks and guides for each week — so you can see what good looks like before you start.
Every deliverable is graded with detailed, line-by-line written feedback from an experienced investment banker.
